Gift Central, as the name connotes is a personalized gift registry service that promises the following benefits:

  1. Allows couples, debutantes or anyone having a special occasion to choose the gifts they want to receive from their guests and not be stuck with gift items they don't want or need.  Their wish list may include practically anything: appliances, home ware, electronics, gadgets, personal care items and even travel packages or GC's for shopping, dining and wellness! 
  2. Makes life simple for their guests.  They need not worry about what to give, where to go and when to buy the gift for the occasion.  Gift Central will prepare the Celebrants wish list, post pictures on the website with prices.  Guest simply need to choose or give a budget and Gift central will handle the purchase, the wrapping and the delivery to the Celebrant.

Gift Central is a one-stop-shop where the Celebrant/s can be candid about their needs.  Our concierge will take charge of managing the guests so the guests commit to fill-in the celebrants wish list!

FAQ For Guests

Gift Central is a personalized gift registry service where anyone having a special event can register FREE OF CHARGE to make their own wish list from the wide array of items available at The Gift Shoppe.  Guests can view and order the items on the wish list via the website, email or by contacting the concierge. 

Gift Central allows you HASSLE-FREE shopping so you avoid the bad traffic and long lines at the malls.  Most importantly, it ensures that your friend/relative registered with Gift Central doesn’t receive 2 of the same gifts that they don’t want.

Definitely not!  Items found in our Gift Shoppe are based on current SRP prices given by our suppliers and sometimes due to our wide supplier network, some items on Gift Central may even COST LESS than those found in other stores. 

Simply click on the picture of the celebrant on the left side of the screen or visit the “Grant-A-Wish” section.  There, you will be able to view the wish list created by your friend/relative.  Alternatively, you may also call the Gift Central concierge.

Since Gift Central wants to make sure that the registered celebrants only receive the gifts they want, guests cannot purchase other items.  However, you can SHARE an item with another guest even if you don’t know them, for as low as P500!  On the wish list, look for the items marked “Available for sharing” and indicate how much you would like to share for that gift.  There is no maximum amount for the amount you want to share, but the minimum is only P500.

The names of all the guests that shared the item will be included in the gift card. 

If I share an item, I don’t want my friends to know that my budget was only P500!
Don’t worry!  After you fill in the form, there is an option to make the amount you shared confidential.

When you have selected an item from the wish list, click on the icon or name of the item.  You will then be asked to enter the event code which was included in the invitation you received and you will need to fill-out a simple form.  Once the form is complete, Gift Central will send you an acknowledgement receipt and mark the item as reserved until we receive the payment from you.  An item will be marked as “reserved” for a maximum of 3 days.  If payment is not received within this time, it will be listed again and marked as available to give way to guests who may want to purchase that item.

Each event is given a unique Event Code and you will need to enter the event code for each event that you are invited to.  The Event Code is included in the invitation you received and is used to make sure that the gifts you order are on the wish list of each registered celebrant. 

No problem!  Simply contact the Gift Central concierge to help you make the purchase over the phone.

Since Gift Central does not accept direct online payments yet, our concierge will need to contact you to inform you of the availability of the item and confirm when payment has been received.  Rest assured that the information you provide will be confidential.

All gifts purchased via Gift Central will be delivered to the registered couple at their specified venue and on their specified date (during or after the event).  Should you wish to bring the gift yourself, you may pick it up from the Gift Central warehouse or we can deliver it to you for a small fee.

 

The registered celebrants will be notified about who has purchased items from Gift Central and a gift card will be included in the item when it is delivered to them.  Special Gift Central cards will also be available at the event venue for you to let them know that you granted their wish!

Guests can pay via 3 options:

 

  1. Deposit Cash / Check payment to our account, then a copy of the deposit slip should be sent/emailed/faxed to Gift Central.
  2. Via Smart Money
  3. Credit/Debit Card (still under process)

Once payment has been received, it will be put as “Wish Granted” on the website to make sure that there are no double orders for the same gift.  An item will be marked as “reserved” for a maximum of 3 days.  If payment is not received within this time, it will be listed again and marked as available to give way to guests who may want to purchase that item.  An acknowledgement receipt will  be sent via fax or email to the guest once payment has been received.

FAQ For Members

  1. Many couples/celebrants get stuck with items they don't need or want OR they get duplicates of some items.  This is because many do not consult or ask the celebrant/s what they want.  Gift Central will help you plan your gifts ahead!  Alternatively, guests may purchase items within their budget, but not what the celebrant wants.  Gift Central allows your guests to purchase an expensive item for as little as P500!
  2. Commercial gift registries only have limited selections but Gift Central has a wide selection of gifts to choose from, including travel and honeymoon packages.
  3. Guests don't have time to buy the gifts.  Gift Central makes it very convenient as they can just order online, by fax or by calling the Gift Central Concierge.
  1. Most, if not all, bridal registries in stores limit you to only a specific section of the store, like house ware or appliances. Gift Central will allow you to list whatever you like!
  2. Registering with Gift Central allows you to receive the gifts YOU want.
  3. As an added service, Gift Central will also be the official RSVP hotline of your special day, with no additional fees. Gift Central offers hassle-free shopping for all your guests and will send email/text blasts as e-thank you cards when an item is purchased for you.
  4. Each registered couple/celebrant will receive a free page on the Gift Central website where their wish list (w/picture) will be posted for guests to view.  The date, time and venue of your special event will also be posted on the site.
  5. All items ordered will be delivered to your doorstep, during or after the your event.

Couples or interested individuals may simply call the concierge or register online via www.giftcentral.com.ph.  Registration is FREE OF CHARGE.

All services are FREE however should the total amount of items ordered by guests be lower than P15,000, then couple will need to shoulder a minimal 5% delivery charge (within Metro Manila).

You may create your own wish list via the concierge or through the website.  On the website, you will be able to manage your list and view the items that have already been purchased for you.

Let us know what you are looking for and we'll find it!  We'll also be sure to include it in your wish list.

As part of Gift Central's service, we will provide you with cards to include in your invitation that say you are registered with us.  The cards will include the Gift Central Concierge Hotline and our website address (www.giftcentral.com.ph) where they can view and order the items on your wish list.  The card will also include a unique event code that guests will enter once they want to purchase (not view) an item for you.   This will ensure that gifts they purchase from Gift Central are on your wish list.

Once you have registered with Gift Central, our concierge will ask you for a copy of your guest list and also act as the RSVP hotline for your wedding or special event.  When we speak with your guests, we will remind them that you are registered at Gift Central and you have requested us to handle your gift selection and purchase.  (We wait for their RSVP or if we do not hear from them, we will call them up a month before the event.)  Also, the event code they enter will be to ensure that they don't purchase items not on the wish list.

Since Gift Central will also be the RSVP hotline, we will inform them about the items on your wish list fax or inform them over the phone.  They may also place the orders through this same process

My guests have varying budgets and may not want to purchase expensive items.

Gift Central has a wide selection of items for you to choose from to suit any budget and some items in The Gift Shoppe cost less than the SRP.

However when you create your wish list, you will have the option to mark items to be available for SHARING.  This will allow your guests to help purchase your dream Plasma TV or Honeymoon package for as low as P500, while sharing the costs with your other guests, even if they don't know each other!  Alternatively, the gifts marked for sharing may also opt to be purchased by one guest.  When the couple or celebrant receives the item, there will be an accompanying gift card with the names of the guests who donated to that item.

The couple or the celebrant will have the option to receive it in cash or pay the balance of the item.

If you opt to receive it in cash, 10% of the total amount pooled will be deducted.

As part of our service, Gift Central will deliver all the items to a venue specified by the celebrant.  It can be delivered to the reception itself or straight to their home.

What if my guests want to bring their purchase to my reception/event? Guests have the option of having the items delivered to them for a minimal delivery fee or pick it up from our warehouse.
